The availibility of sophisticated technology has sparked a trend, with some stressing that some individuals have taken advantage of modern communications technology, while other people do not at all. Although the vast majority of people, indeed, have benefited from such technological appliances, I advocate the view that there are some who still lagging behind with the advent of scarce technology.
At the outset, let’s delve into the case of people who benefited from modernized communications technology. In developed countries, screen-based gadgets are ubiquitous coupled with stable internet connection. Thanks to this, the residents of these states might not face several stumbling blocks, such as the lack of communication. In this regard, people might have be informed about news instantly, work remotely as freelancers or communicate with their near and dear ones remotely, who reside in another parts of world, helps them cut commuting costs. Social media platforms – Instagram, Facebook and Telegram – might be a case in point; the dwellers of developed countries might send messages instantly through such platforms or make video calls to their relatives to eradicate interpersonal obstacles and form profound bonds.
Having said that, despite the availibility of state-of-the-art communications technology, people, who came from low socio-economic class, still face obstacles in underdeveloped countries. One of them is unstable internet connection. Since everything has increasingly becoming available with the assistance of internet connection, those who do not have internet connection are likely to lag behind. That is why I reiterate my view that everyone has benefited from technology equally. Take Afganistan or any other central Asian coutries as an example. Such countries are prone to develop in a slow pace in various grounds, such as urbanization and industrilization, resulting in unequal opportunities compared to their counterparts – the US and Australia.
In conclusion, modern communications technology has been paving the way for development in various fields; however, some propose that not everyone has benefited them equally for various reasons, such as unstable internet connection and others. I completely agree with this view, as the citizens of underdeveloped nations might face stumbling blocks in contrast to their counterparts, who reside in developed countries with some extra imperative opportunities to communicate properly.
