Nowadays, almost all countries in the world are capitalist, which means the price of things depends on demand and supply. Some modern artists receive huge sums of money for the things they create, whereas other artists struggle to survive. From my perspective, I strongly agree that governments should make some policies to relieve and resolve this unfair situation.
According to the topic, it is important that governments or policies makers should enhance and support all artists in various dimensions to allow them to create new works. There are several policies which aid artists such as organizing exhibitions for creators to sell or auction their works, giving them some funds to make an incentive (depending on their performance). For example, There is an art exhibition funded by Thai government which is located near Queen Sirikit Convention Center for local artists to show and sell their arts.
However, the main argument against the fact that over 80% of countries in the world are capitalist. The concept of capitalism is the price of goods and services depend on demand and supply. Moreover, the performance of artists may reflect through their works’ price. For example, in the renaissance, there were a lot of poor artists because their works were not perfect enough to satisfy their customers.
In summary, I want to restate my opinion that I strongly agree that governments should make some policies to help and solve the unfair situation for artists such as giving funds, although almost countries in the world are capitalist.
