In today’s society, many parents choose to raise their children by always fulfilling their every demand and allowing them to do as they please. However, this approach is not beneficial and can even have negative effects on children’s development. This essay will discuss why indulging children is not suitable for parenting and highlight the harmful impacts it can have.

It is evident that constantly giving in to children’s demands and letting them have their way is not a good parenting strategy. Children who get everything they want and have unlimited freedom tend to become stubborn and less attentive. When parents fulfill all their children’s requests, including the negative ones, the children do not learn the difference between right and wrong. Consequently, they may develop numerous negative behaviors in the future. Moreover, if children are excessively spoiled, they may continue to demand things without considering their parents’ financial difficulties or well-being. This lack of consideration means they do not learn to respect others or appreciate the value of what they have, potentially leading to impolite behaviors as they mature.

Spoiling and indulging children can result in various negative outcomes as they grow older. Firstly, these children may maintain the negative behaviors and continue to spend money recklessly, which can lead to financial issues or large debts. Secondly, children who have been extensively spoiled often lack the manners and self-discipline necessary for success in their careers. Employers are unlikely to hire individuals who do not show respect . Lastly, these children may not be well-liked or respected by those around them due to their negative attitudes. This may make it difficult for them to establish friendships or gain support for their careers.

In conclusion, the indulgent parenting approach is unreliable as it can result in children lacking empathy and displaying bad behavior, ultimately leading to economic burdens and challenges integrating into both the workplace and the community.
