In today’s world, some people argue that violent criminals should be sentenced to death, while others believe that this punishment should be not allowed in this development age. Both perspectives have pros and cons. I will discuss both.

On the other hand, killing people is an inhumane job and not an optimal solution for addressing crime issues. All individuals have the right to stay alive regardless of their behavior. In addition, the death sentence will affect negatively the families of those people, especially if they have children. These children will grow up with psychological problems.
However, many criminals have been exposed to violence when they were children, which translates to why they have become criminals. The government can help them by treating them under the supervision of psychotherapists. One other possible solution is to increase criminals’ knowledge by encouraging them to read books about the risks of the crimes. If all suggestions don’t work The government can sentence them to life imprisonment.
In conclusion, the death penalty means a decline in crime rates, leading to the prevalence of safety among citizens, people will be discouraged from committing violent crimes when they know that their fate is death.
