There is a widespread debate over an issue whether urban life is better than rural life or not. It is often argued that people enjoy city life more than the country life. I completely agree with this statement because urban life has some extra benefit which basically makes it better than the country life.
Metro people enjoy much more advantages than rural people. Communication in urban area is very easy. We can easily communicate with our family and friends who are living abroad with the help of internet, which is in rural area quite hard to make it possible in our country. At the same time, price of internet in rural area is higher than urban area. For example, I was on an official trip to a village of Joypurhat for one week. I have completed the assigned work and I was supposed to send the work for review to my manager but I was unable to send the file due to poor quality internet. Hence, rural life has some drawbacks which make it less popular in compared to city life.
In addition, education quality in rural area is not up to the urban standard. Most of the people in rural area are uneducated which make their life more critical. On the other hand, in metro area education quality is very good due to the availability of good teachers, reputed institutions and aware parents. For instance, we can talk about our national level examination such as SSC and HSC. Where we see every year urban institutions make good results than rural institutions. Therefore, city students or people enjoy good quality education than rural students.
At the end, it is very clear to us that due to availability of good and cheap communication system as well as the quality education in urban area people prefer urban life more than village life. If we can increase the quality of education as well as cheap and easy communication in villages I believe people would also prefer rural life.
