Some individuals expect an increase in the unemployment rates folowing the growth of the artificial intelligence and mechanisation, while others believe in new beginnings with this innovation. In my opinion, although A.I. can negatively affect certain jobs, it will create more possibilities for human development.
It is understandable that many fear job losses due to automation. A.I. systems are replacing a variety of human tasks, such as data entry, customer service, and even basic programming. For instance, banking transactions that required human tellers are now processed through ATMs and mobile apps. These changes may lead to job displacement in some sectors, requiring workers to shift to more physycally active or creative roles. As a result, employees will be forced to learn new skills or transationing into carrers that are less vulnerable.
On the other hand, it is believed that A.I. and automation can open doors of new industries and opportunities. As machines take over routine tasks, human workers will have free time to focus in more complex areas. For example, someone previously employed in basic softwares innovation might change their focal point to hardwares or another integrated systems. This shift not only demands new skills but also encourage professionals to growth. Moreover, with these advances new products, smart systems and new roles will be created.
To conclude, although artificial intelligence and automation may reduce some type of jobs, I believe they will lead to more opportunities. By addapting to these changes and developing new skills, workers can achieve a better future that is shaped by innovation and continuing improvements for the technology.
