Some parents argue that children should free to decide their own choices. In other hand, some people believe that children should be guided by their parents to make decisions. Both view have it’s own perspective and we will discuss it in this essay. However, I have my opinion on this issue. I think children should make their own choices for things they already have understanding.
Freedom to choose is one of basic human rights. Every person should aware and implement this basic rights for their daily life. The right to choose should be trained at early age. That is why, some people shared view that children siulf be allowed to choose based on their own preference. For example, some children could confidently mix and match their dress for shool, since they already trained and experienced free to decide activities.
Nevertheless, free decision is a process to choose and should accompanied by responsibilities. Some parents says that children should not allowed to decide based on their own preference because children have no awareness on responsibilities. At the young ages, children are on the period of learning all the new things. They could barely choose based on their interest despite the consequences. That is why, parents guidance are essential for children to help them know the implication of their preference.
However, in my opinion children should have some space to express their feeling along with their choices. Parents should be advanced to give understanding on their preference. In other words, as long as the parents had given knowledge for their kids, it is time to give some extent to let children free to dicide. In other hand, if parents had not shared their view on things, they should guide their children to decide.
