The roles of teachers and students in education are discussed in the current days. Some people think that experienced teachers help students achieve success, while others consider pupils should have their own discipline, motivation and enthusiasm. However, I strongly believe that both students and instructors play crucial roles in education.
First of all, teachers are considered as motivators, instructors, and sometimes psychologists, since they stimulate and give direction to learners. In addition, teachers should be strongly educated. If they lack knowledge in their profession, the outcome will worsen. Besides, in order to teach, they must have an ability to explain and must be able to convey information. For instance, even though some educators who have the best certificates and knowledge, they lack talent for teaching.
On the other hand, scholars should realize deeply why education is vital for them and appreciate their teachers’ effort. Moreover, learners must be hardworking in order to be successful in education. As a teacher at school, I always face students who don’t intend to learn something new. They have no idea how they waste their time and encouraging them to pursue education is too challenging. We can’t ignore the fact that some pupils’ goal is not getting bachelor degree. Of course, there is no strict rule all the people have to study in university or have degrees, yet education is compulsory at school.
In conclusion, based on these facts, we must not overlook both tutors’ and students’ roles in education. Sometimes being a good teacher or student is not sufficient for getting benefit in education. In my opinion, these features incredibly depend on each other: when you don’t have an experienced tutor, it will be too hard to flourish. However, if you don’t have inspiration to study, the teacher can’t force you to learn.
