Few people hold the view that it is the obligation of the government to aid the unemployed individuals on weekly basis. I strongly disagree with this statement because such an action will make the individuals carefree as well as will create a heavy financial burden on the government.
The foremost reason behind disagreement is that monetary help by the government will make individuals tension free about their lives. Since everyone will be aware that at the end of the week a particular amount will be credited to their account without doing anything it will make them more less intersted in finding a job. Not only this, if the working class will observe such a temperament they will feel neglected as they are earning money after doing day and night shifts and the non-workers are earning an almost same amount without doing anything,thus,it will increase their anger towards the administration. Hence, financial help on weekly basis will make people more thoughtless and careless to find a permanent job for themselves and they will completely rely on the money paid by the government.
Moreover, financial help by the government will ultimately create monetary burden on the budget of the government. If the government will spend much of the financial budget on the unemployed then it will directly impact the other sectors of the country. Since the count of unemployed people in comparison to those of employed is much greater, thus, the amount spent on them will be definately high then the amount spent on working people. In addition to this,if bulk of the amount will be given to the non-working class than the other areas which require immediate development will be neglected such as the road , hospital and school. Hence, providing assistance to the unemployed will have a direct impact on the budget of the government and may shake the entire finance of the country.
In conclusion,in my opinion the idea of providing financial help to the unemployed is definitely useless. Not only because it makes the individuals don’t bother about search a job for themselves but also because it creates a huge burden on the budget of the government.
