Many people argue that reading books can help individuals to imagine and speak better compared to watching films. I completely disagree with the given statement, as TV shows or films could provide scenarios where people could watch several actions and scenes where professionals have a talk, they can benefit more on their imaginary and verbal skills rather than reading.
On the one hand, watching TV programs would increase dramatically people’s imagining process because as long as people start to watch films, they would be provided with upscale scenes of nature or space which is likely to have a big impact on creativity of individuals; thus would rise their creativeness. For example, many youngsters around the globe who have watched a number of fiction films can be more creative than adults who have used to read a lot.
On the other hand, by listening to tonnes of conversations conveyed by ace performers on TV, people are highly likely to learn how to communicate better compared to expanding knowledge by reading. To be more precise, native speakers could supply some advanced vocabularies and phrases while speaking which would be beneficial to language learners to expand their lexical resources. As a student who has been learning English language for two years, I have met an incredibly improvements in my speaking skills by making habit to watch Ted talks consistently.
In conclusion, I totally support the idea of watching films which can help people to develop their horizontal and linguistic aspects well compared to reading books.
