There are conflicting views on whether government should take the responsibility of residence’s health or they should take care of it themselves. In my opinion, every individual should responsible for their health because they often do those things which can cause health issues.
On the one hand, those who argue that the citizen’s health is only the responsibility of government do so because the health sectors are often managed by government. So, if health sectors have required facility for the treatment of any diseases, the fitness level of residence will be good. As they don’t need to travel long distances to any other county to receive treatment when they face health issues. However, I believe that the improvement in the health sectors is useless because people often don’t visit a hospital even if they face any issue.
Those on the other side of the argument say that every individual is responsibility for their individual’s health because most of the health factors are in their control. For example, if people eat a healthy food and do enough exercise on the daily basis, they will not be susceptible to diseases, and they remain fit. I agree with this argument because while people aware of the health issues, which could be caused by junk food, people often eat them. Similarly, for example, in Pakistan, many individuals smoke regardless of knowing that it can cause serious health issues. As a result of these all, they face different health issues.
In conclusion, although government may improve health sectors, I believe that the responsibility of health should be of every individual because most of the health factors are in their control if they don’t do anything wrong with their health, they will stay healthy.
