Living arrangements during university years have been long debated. While some believe that dormitory life is better for students’ growth, others think living with family provides more support. In my opinion, living in college dormitories is more beneficial.
On one hand, dormitories help students become independent. Living away from parents teaches them important skills like managing money, organizing time and solving problems on their own. Additionally, they can make their new friends, join campus activities and access school facilities more easily which improves both their social and academic lives.
On the other hand, living with family offers emotional and financial support. Parents can encourage students during stressful times, and staying at home is usually cheaper than paying for accomodation. Some students may also study better in a familiar and comfortable enviornment.
However, I believe dormitory life is a better choice because university is not only about studying but also about personal development. Students living on campus often become more confident and responsible.
In conclusion, although living with family has some advantages, staying in college dormitories helps students develop independence and social skills, making it the better option in my opinion.
