Some people believe that city is a better place to live compared to the countryside, while others state that the opposite is true. In my opinion, I think it is better to live in a city as it provides more jobs and have easier access to many facilities, although, the countryside has its own benefits such as having less pollution.
On the one hand, living in the rural areas or countryside would mean a more peaceful environment compared to the urban areas. It is a well-known fact that rural areas do not have much vehicles, therefore having no factor that can contribute to noise pollutions and make the countryside more peaceful. Not only that but the rural areas also don’t have much air pollution as most industries and big companies are located in the city center. The waste that the industries produced have no impact on the countryside.
Nonetheless, there are many benefits of cities that make them a better place then the rural part of the country. Firstly, a city can provide many work opportunities for job-seekers such as office works or jobs in company and restaurants. In addition to this, a city center can travel to any parts of the city in a more convenient way as city has variety of public transportation including cab, taxi, bus, train and tram. By contrast, the people in countryside can have difficulties regarding this aspect as most rural areas tend of have underdeveloped transport facilities.
In conclusion, there are many benefits that countryside brings to people, however, they are less significant than the benefits that the city has. For this reason, I think living in the city is a better option.
