In this era of globalization and modernization there is great debate between the way of living in the previous generation having less equipped with modern days facilities. Though it was simple without any sofisticated tools previously, I believe that life nowadays is more simpler and easier with the help of these advanced technologies.
On the one hand, due to advancement of technologies every aspect of life is more convenient especially in the field of communication, transportation and health facilities. For instance people have to write letters and have to wait for a long period to receive the response which is now can be done within a fraction of minutes in smartphones and computers which ultimately is time preserving and more reliable. In addition to this people have to walk for hours to get to marketplace and hospitals just few decades ago which is now more convenient with the advancement of vehicles and biomedical engineering which rewards with the better healthcare and longetivity of lifespan.
In contrast to this, there are few drawbacks which can cause some difficulties in day to day life due to this advancements. People need to have high level of skills to adapt this progression. For example, those who are from older generation have variable amounts of hardships while operating new generation smartphone and other home appliances. Not only the older ones, today’s young adults are more addictive to use of smartphones and computers surfing internet whole day which eventually harm their academics and lack creativeness.
To conclude this, modern advancement of technologies is way more beneficial to mankind making life simpler and easier to carry daily work but it can not be ignored the fact that it can be more addictive and stressful if used excessively.
