The debate over whether parents enrolling youngsters in preschool, rather than leaving them in the care of loved ones has generated significant attention online. While some argue that there are more benefits in children attending preschool, others believe that family members should care for them. This essay will discuss both viewpoints before providing my perspective.
On the one hand, it is argued that sending little children to creche is beneficial because it allows them to be around other children of the same age. As a result, many young children learn to talk faster and also make friends of their own age group. Additionally, creches are well suited to cater to the needs of these children due to the employment of standard teachers, well-developed facilities and a suitable environment for growth. For example, a survey carried out in Lagooz secondary school showed that babies who spend considerable amount of time in preschool talked faster than those left in the care of families.
In contrast, others argue that leaving children with family members helps to strengthen their relationship. This is because children tend to bond easily with family members, which this can lead to great friendship later in life. A great illustration of this are children that are very close to their grandma because they were left in her care at a younger age. This resulted in the development of a good relationship.
In conclusion, while there are benefits to both perspectives, I personally believe that children should be left in the care of families because it helps in strengthing the bond between them.
