In this modern era, a number of people cannot remember national holidays and like to celebrate their personal events more; as a result,are becoming less connected to the nation. I strongly disagree with this statement. My disagreements are explained in the following paragraphs.
To commence with, everyone loves their own country because nationality is the identification of any person. People forget national holidays due to their hectic schedules. That is the reason they cannot celebrate their country’s holidays. Additionally, in this fast-paced era, individuals face more workloads at their companies. Consequently, people forget their national holidays. For example, many IT-related companies have a lot of work and that is the reason companies cannot give leave on any public holiday.
Moreover, in many industries or workplaces, they give limited leaves to their employees. So, people who work in this type of place often think about their leaves and therefore prefer to celebrate their personal events or functions rather than public holidays. Apart from this, in India people cannot celebrate any festival or holiday if anyone dies in their home or family. As a result, people may not celebrate public holidays. For instance, Reliance Industries gives limited leaves to its employees.
To conclude, there are numerous reasons why people do not celebrate national holidays, because of exhausted lives and work pressure, as well as minimal leaves from companies and the diversity of Indian culture.
