In this present world, people are keen to invest in several kinds of things through debt, whether they are eagerly necessary or not. It is one kind of behavior where someone unnecessarily owes them beyond their affordability, whether they have an alternative option or not. This essay will discuss why people are fond of investing and what measures will be taken to prevent this behavior.
To begin with, there are a plethora of reasons why they like to debit money for things that are not very important. Firstly, the influencing behaviors are directed to be collected through others attitudes, advertisements, and social influences. For example, according to a survey in Bangladesh in a BUET study, approximately 40% of people purchase the new iPhone series through their debit card. However, social influencing has converted public interest through attractive advertising as well as social influencer promotional videos. Secondly, the lifestyles of people have been demanding more and more than previous times. As a result, they are going to collect it by crossing their income limitation, which has been impacting their daily expenses.
Generally, despite people’s attitudes, there are many chances to change them. First of all, the government should take measures to reduce debit proportions throughout different types of policies that have been providing debit money to customers, such as banks, companies, sellers, etc. On the other hand, the system of debit for the public should be limited to create distance to reduce this attitude. Meanwhile, sometimes people become addicted to irrelevant things through misrepresentations like advertisements, social media, and fake reviews. Therefore, the controlling body of advertisement should observe how authentic it is for people’s daily needs. Besides, people ought to not follow other people’s lifestyles because every individual has different earned sources and responsibilities, whether they are extremely needed or not.
To sum up, although people day to day have been changing their daily lives, even buying things by debit from others, it has always been reducing their saving attitude. Therefore, the government and individuals must change their policies to avoid this attitude.
