Band 4+: Some people get into debt by buying things they don’t need and can’t afford. What are the reasons for this behavior? What action can be taken to prevent people from having this problem?

Due to industrial revolution and other manufacturing developments, we are able to find everything we want in a local market that never be found in just few decades ago. Therefore, a shopping madness has showed up over the years. More we produce, more we consume. However, it seems this balance is inclined to broken. Recent news shows that people are trying to spend their money that wasn’t earned to purchase items. In this article we will discuss backgrounds related to this issue.

First and foremost, before we give solutions, we must comprehend why people eager to get into loan so easily. After the invention of visual media such as TV, advertisements took a huge place in our lives. Companies tried to sell products through this way, and they aimed to make people addict to their products. When the other big players, for instance banks, see such an opportunity like this, they didn’t want to miss it and they provided enormous amount of loans for consuming. Soon after, a community of consumers has been created.

When it comes to fix this problem, experts say that is not that easy. However, there is one thing that is certain, every individual must solve this problem if they want to close their debts. Especially when this attitude become an addiction many health centers promote supports to cure it. In my opinion, governments should apply deterrent fines for companies and banks that make getting loans common.

All in all, we have examined some of the sources of this problem why people tend to get loan from different facilities. Additionally, we discussed some solutions that can be done personally and by governments, authorities as well. It seems this craziness will continue in short term as long as any factor steps back for the human’s sake.
