In contempory society, people appear to buy things excessively which are unneccessary and unaffordable. There might me some reasons that inducing this human behaviour, I will try to use my knowledge and experience to analyse this issue and explain it in this essay. Also, I will find the solution that can be taken to prevent from making considerable dept.
Indeed, in the past, things were cheaper than in the present time that happened from many reasons. One reason is that inflation and development of technology, utillities have been getting increasing continually over the times. Besides, humanity lack of patience to think twice before buy things. Also, banks offer people more debt easily.
Firstly, nowadays, we must see a number of advertising all around us in daily life, to convince people to buy things more. Furthermore, the internet has been developing a lot and growing of social media platforms simultaneously. It seem to induce individuals to have items and then show them off by posting online on social media applications. Competing each other more and more that they are not realized it. As a result they will make more debt. For example, my friend, she is really socialized, and her habit is scrolling social media a lot. She told me that and always buys things unnecessarily and unaffordably and gets high debt.
Secondly, it seems as though banks give more aproachable debt for residents. The banks want to make profit from interests. So people tend to get it more and more. However, they will need to work harder, resulting work life imbalance. They could not maintain a healthy life, and might have decrease happiness and wellbeing. For example, my friend same as I mentioned earlier, she get a lot of debts and she works hard. She cannot have time to exercise and prepare healthy food.
The solution that might be taken is, the governmet could help to decrease advertising and act policy to the banl to not offer money easily for people. And promoting more mindfulness, when people that can be careful to use money, they might be spend less significantly.
