These days, it is uncommon for the debate among people on not adopting planes as a means of transportation, some even go further as claiming not taking it anymore. From my vantage point, I do remain convinced that the advantages of flying for individuals and business outweigh its disadvantages on environments.
On the one hand, there are two main benefits that taking planes can bring in protecting the environment. To begin with, it reduces the amount of uncleaned fuels released on a daily basis. That is to say, in order to ensure smooth movement, flights require a large amount of fuel such as carbon dioxide or greenhouse gases that undoubtedly cause air pollution. As a result, when the utilization of flights is lowered, the quality of the air will be ensured at a safe and healthy level. Secondly, the avoidance of flying frequency enhances the likelihood of keeping fertilized soil. In fact, despite not happening to a great extent, flights still cause tragic accidents, letting out scatters such as plastic bags or indisposable carriages of passengers, and thereby hindering infiltration, soil aeration as well as poisoning the roots of trees. Therefore, when the public refuses to make use of planes to commute, these problems may not exist as a serious threat to the conservation of the biodiversity system.
On the other hand, I believe that the merits for the quality of air and soil are overshadowed by the demerits related to individuals and business of using planes. Regarding the former, it fosters convenience in time and cost for residents when moving from one place to another. In other words, flights shorten the duration of the journey significantly in comparison to buses and cars with the flexibility of schedules allows one to proactively choose tailored to their work. For instance, doctors who are in an urgency to go to another country for a cancer cure would opt for plane planes as an ideal choice to maximize time instead of driving on their own with thousands of problems arising in the middle of the road such as congestion. Concerning the latter, airport profits are a part of economic development which liven up the activities of the business market. In detail, by creating integration between countries, Qatar airway as a result of ranking first on a strike of a nine-year period, affects directly to countries in the middle east of the global. That’s why when the number of people using planes escalate, airport managers have to allocate money ọn the maintenance of high-quality facilities to meet the demands of passengers, which is a motivation for other rivals in the market to follow and jointly push up the progress in the airport business.
In conclusion, while the choice of citizens to reduce the number of flying times or even stop it ever again is environmentally-driven for the soil and air quality, it results in obstacles in travelling for residents and the hindrance to business operations. It is fostering people’s awareness on this problem and strictly bringing in regulations not to harm the environment for the airplane managers that lead to a beneficial approach for the entire community.
