Some people believe that studying History is important in school whereas others think subjects like science and technology are much more important than History in this modern world.In this essay I shall discuss both views and give my opinion.Those people who say History is one of the most important school subjects give their reason

as follows. They consider History as a source of education.As history repeats itself ,individuals can learn from past events and it helps people to make wise decisions while they face challenges in their personal or national life. For instance we the people of this generation faced a terrible pandemic of coronavirus.May be after two hundred years this world may face another kind of pandemic by a different virus and in that time for survival people can take lessons from the past pandemic .They can know how the human race faced and overcame the corona pandemic and they can take initiatives from that lesson.On the other hand those who believe Science and Technology are more important subjects in school compared to History may give their reasons as follows. In this modern age our life is closely related to Science and Technology. If students spend more time studying Science and Technology, it will gradually improve our life .The main reason is those nations who are more advanced in technology have a better economy and life standards. For example in the US people have a more advanced economy and lifestyle as they are selling highly improved technological war weapons and earning huge amounts of money.This money helps them to improve their country and life standards.I believe as both History and Science and Technology are important, students should study both subjects. However they can spend more time on Science and Technology as it is more closely related to our life.
