In recent years, an ongoing debate has emerged regarding the value of advertisement, garnering significant public attention. Supporters of advertising argue for the effect it has in terms of persuading consumers to purchase products. While opponents of the advertising assert that it has become a regular event therefore possesses scant impact. From my perspective, both opinions hold water, and I concur particularly with the former one
In nowadays society, advertiesement infests our lives profoundly. It exist ubiquitously in almost every channels and applications—emails, cellphone’s notifications, televisions and more—presented as fragmented information which are likely to be ingnored. We have to admit that excessive advertisement might be counterproductive in some occasions, resulting in high cost of the product and low conversion rate of the advertisement itself.
However, throughout the history, it is widely held belief that advertising can be effective with designed strategy. There are several compelling features of a good advertisement that is more likely to sell products. The first trait is to positioning specific and accurate target audience, for instance, some advertisements with delicate algorithm, cater with the taste of consumers by asserting information flow to social media platforms such as Tik Tok. The second characteristic is excellent and touching content quality which can resonate with clients and subsequentely increase the sales. Aditionally, public advertisement that follows certain ethnical considerations tend to be more successful.
In conclusion, I firmly believe that advertising plays an critical role to promote consumption. With proper surveillance and scientific strategy, it will succefully encourage people to acquire commodity accorded with their needs.
