There has been an ongoing debate over whether children should acquire a foreign language when they are at early stages of school while others argue that they should learn when they reach to adolescence. In my opinion, i assert that they should be learning a foreign language, when they are able to comprehend its use and are able to concentrate on its effectiveness.
learning a foreign language at young age has its own advantages, and one of the key benefit is that young minds are adaptive in nature. Learning alphabets and memorising vocabulary might be easier for kids, resulting in learning a foreign language. For example, teachers help children to learn foreign language through rhymes, songs and fun games.
On the other hand, the reason of supporters who believe that children should study a foreign lanuguage at adolescence age is because teenagers are able to concentrate for longer periods, and they may understand grammar and sturucture formation more easily. As a result, they are able to learn and can use peoperly. For instance, students can write academic essays if they have an proper understaning of a foreign language.
In my opinion, i agree with the latter viewpoint because learning a foreign language at younger age provides them with an opportunity for their future educational and carreer goals. For example, students who learnt french can easily apply to international universities, helping him achieve his goals.
I conclusion, although both the views have advantages, i believe children should encouraged to study a foreign language at their teen age as it will help them to understand more accurately and to apply in their future goals appropriately.
