Many people nowadays prefer to work for big companies than settling at smaller organizations. I personally do agree with the statement. The main reason for this is, Large companies provide a better salary for their employees and also the career prospects for employees at large companies is promising.
The major reason why many employees choose to work for large companies is the better payment offered. This is to mean that,
many big companies provide a better wage than smaller companies can afford to pay their workers. For instance, we can take the example of two car companies, Tesla, a large car manufactering organization, and
another smaller start-up car production company Rivian. A car production employee working for Tesla receive twice the salary of a person working for Rivian. This is because large organizations, such as Tesla, have a bigger capital than smaller ones and can pay their workers large sums of money. For this reason many now aspire to work for large companies.
The other reason why people prefer to work for large institutions is, due to better long term career prospects. In general an employe that works for a large well renowned organization have a better chance of securing promotion than a person working for smaller company does. we can consider an example of job promotion strategy at Tesla compared to Rivian, Those working at Tesla have the opportunity for a promotion much quicker, provided that they accomplish tasks given to them efficiently, While workers at Rivian will take them twice as long just to be considered for a promotion. The reason for this difference is small organization usually have a smaller structure with few vacancies at management position. This opportunity is becoming the driving reason for many to seek job openings at large companies.
In conclusion, I storngly agree with the statement that employees nowadays prefer to work for large companies. The major reasons behind this is the better payment and bright future career prospect large companies offer to their employees.
