It is argued that it is beneficial to work for a huge multinational corporation than startup company. I completely disagree with this phenomenon because of fewer learning opportunities and not be able to connect with your all coworkers in the company for any aspect.
Large company has numerous number of staff in all location. Because of this reason, nobody in a organization can connect with all of them for any work related issue or for personal matter as well. When person can engage with all types of employee from various department, they can involve with each other. However, In multi national company, It is not possible to collaborate with people from all departments.For example, people from large company tends to have fewer contacts of others than a worker who work for small company.
Another point which is also considered here is learning oppertunities that will be offered to huge company to their employees. When large of people are working for one project, few of them will get new and productive task rather than regular work as learning chance. Because of this idea, they can not learn multiple skills while working for company.For example, according to survey of university of Toronto, people who are working for large company have lower learning rate than people who work for initial level startup.
In conclusion, Due to huge number of people working for a single company and fewer learning opportunities, workers in large organization can not have a skyrocketed growth in professional life. I, therefore, disagree that it is considerably good to work for huge company instead of smaller one.
