Public libraries are frequently not in demand as they charge for the usage of books and also, many people use the technology to study or do a research. Because of the growing number of people using the technology, public libraries are useless, moreover, with the government funding them it is a profound financial waste. For instance, according to a research provided by Oxford University, approximately 57% of high school pupils in local schools prefer to use the Internet, in order to do their assignments, rather than the public libraries. However, I assume that those places provide individuals useful resources.

In addition, some people do not have access to other sources of information such as the Internet, electronic devices, and these people take advantage of libraries to gain some knowledge. At the same time, those individuals should have the availability to libraries without having to pay for it because of their limited funds.
