Irrefutably, society is divided into two groups as per the distinct mindset of different people. Therefore, millions of individuals opine that online materials play a pivotal role for juveniles to perceive reading ability, whereas others believe that printed sheets are crucial for them. This essay would shed light on both the notions in the subsequent paragraph. From my perspective, i rely on traditional books, which are better than online materials.
There are a plethora of reasons why some people are in favour of the traditional books to improve reading skills. To begin with, most exams in today’s world are paper based, and students have to read the questions on paper. Therefore, if a student improves their reading ability, it would be beneficial for them to achieve an outstanding result. Another worth mentioning point is that in spite of traditional books more expensive, they might not affect students health issues.
There are a myriad of factors why many individuals have faith in online materials for enhancing reading abilities instead of printed copies. The provoking factor is that in contemporary era, technology is advancing day by day; as a consequence, many institutions have already started conducting exams using online tools. So, if students don’t read smoothly on any technology they will not achieve a good result. Secondly, in the modern era, people can easily adapt to technology, and sometimes they get bored with continuously reading traditional books. That is why if they start reading PDFs on mobile phones or laptops, they might not get bored easily. To exemplify, a research of Oxford University stated that in 2010, it is predicted to that 98% of world population will be dependent on technology in almost every aspects of their life including education.
In conclusion, I tend to reiterate that despite education being more rely on technology, millions of people choose to read traditional books due to their lack of knowledge on technology.
