Environmental issues have become one of the most significant concerns of the modern era. While some believe that animals and plants extinction is the major problem regarding environmental hazards, I personally think that there are more vital environmental problems.
Supporters of the extinction, on the one hand, say that if the animals and plats are lost, food chain would be lost as well. The main reason is that creatures are consuming each other and if one is destroyed the life of others might be in danger. The extinction of fish is a good illustration of this, fish is significantly vital in the underground ecosystem and many of the larger sea animals consume these creatures for survival; therefore, omitting this kind of species will result in dying of others. Moreover, some consider particular animals as their companion which makes them more concerned about animals’ life. Under no circumstances do people want their loved ones die; for instance, if a domestic animal like a dog is highly attached to a family and, based on a doomsday scenario, the dog is lost, the family will always advocate in favor of a fight for prohibiting environmental damages in order to save animals.
On the other hand, one the most important issues in the case of environment is rise of sea level. As it is happening nowadays, it is crystal clear that many levies are know in danger. This is because this issue will not only will have destroy mankind, it also make the Earth inhabitable for all of its habitat. Secondly, greenhouse gasses that are produced vastly by humans, might indeed have the same effect on the planet Earth as the sea level rise. These gasses and their footprints can destroy the ozone layer and therefore, destroy the Mother Earth.
To sum up, although animals play a major role in human lives, special attention should be devoted to other important aspects environmental problems. Therefore, on balance, I believe that environmentalists must act without prejudice and consider more vital sides of the problem such as rise of sea levels and Co2 emissions.
