A certain number of individuals devote most of their lives being in an environment they were giving birth to. This essay will discuss the factors behind it, the benifits, and it’s drawbacks.
On the one hand, being close to loved ones is one of the reasons people remain in a familiar environment. Family plays a major role in our lives and it is difficult to detach ourselves from them. In addition, having a property that has great value can be a motivation to stick around, to be able to control it and get the most out of it. To give a clear example, a man who has a piece of land in a valuable location might want to stay back and avoid stories that touches the heart. Along with that, a job that pays handsomely can be a ground to be in the same location of birth.
On the other hand, there are some merits associated with this, such as support network. Being surrounded by people you have known all your life can make certain situations easier. You could have free access and less dificulties in everything you do. For instance, if an individual attends an interview and the employer is someone he/she has known all their life, it boosts their chances of being employed, making life easier for them.
Furthermore, there are certain de-merits which occurs when one decides to reside in their place of birth and it includes limited opportunities in life such as, greater employment prospects, better paying jobs, and a good environment that can boost sales in business. Moreover, living close to family can be an explanation for less independence. To illustrate, if a man lives with his family, they will feed him, clothe him and provide most of his needs, that would make him comfortable and he will never know what it means to struggle to get them himself.
In conclusion, although there are several factors why people live closely to their birth place, this can offer both benefits and drawbacks.
