People held different perspectives about whether it is the best that all family mumbers run the same business or this kind of businesses can cause some problems. From my perspective, while family-run businesses are good choice, there are some potential issues.
On one hand, it is claimed that working in a family business is a better choice than others. Proponents of this view claim that members can learn easily the job which is related to their family business from their relatives-parents, grandparents or etc., because they can be good mentors due to working the same job for many years. Members may be immersed in the business from childhood, therefore they will easily attain the knowledge and some tips, about their relatives job by spending their time with them. For example, they can improve their problem-solving skills, if there is a problem about financial risks in the business. By this way, people can improve as a good imployee and be a professionalist in their job from childhood and this will help to run and develop the business.
On the other hand, I believe that there are some potential risks. Above all, businesses have financial risks which are undesireable for some people. These people may not want to work a job which has risks. Therefore, they may prefer to find and work in a sound niche. For example, businesses can confront with downwards and upwards. However, some people may choose to work with a stabil salary. For this reason, family-run businesses are not always the best choice for all people. Moreover, It is irrefutable that some members of the family may have different passions or skills and may not want to run their family businesses. For example, a family has a market business and one member has an interest in IT or a different area. Forcing them to work with their families can cause some problems in their mental health and self-growth. Also, if they may have a good chance of being an amazing professionalist in their own area, it may be lost with working with their families. Therefore, family-run businesses can induce losting good workers in different areas.
In conclusion, while it is supported that family-run businesses are the best due to people can engage and improve in a specific area by the help of their families from childhood, I agree with those who claim that there are some problems such as financial risks which are not preferrable for some people, different interests or abilities from their families jobs
