People have divergent views when it comes to the education on whether a mixed school or separate school is a better option. People might think a mixed school is better to practice communication with different genders while, people may think separate school as distracting from studies for young schoolers. However, I believe that mixed schools offer more opportunities and are better suited for students.
The reason people might consider mixed schools can be distracting sometimes because when mixed gender, youngsters might get involved with each other romantically. On the other hand, it is just a natural part of life and solely depends on the person. Additionally, separate schools are not directly proportional to resulting in higher achievements. For example, I used to go to a separate school and was very shy in front of different genders when I was required to communicate. My grades were also not very different from my friend who went to a separate school.
The main advantage of mixed schools is that young people get to practice their communication skill not just with their own gender, but different gender too. As a result, they are more prepared with challenges that will come later in adulthood because obviously, people are not only interacting with the same gender in real life. For example, children who went to mixed school tend to be more confident and sociable when engaging with different genders due to their experiences.
All things considered, going to mixed schools offers more opportunity and experiences such as good social skills that are useful in interacting with people, no matter the gender. This kind of learning cannot be obtained from going to separate schools. Consequently, this primary reason overrides the choice of separate schools.
