Although paid work is thought by some individuals to be a useful experience for youngsters, other people consider it as detrimental for them. Children can learn about real life experience and can gain independence from doing paid work, but there are some drawbacks to be taken into account.
On the one hand, young individuals can consider doing paid work as an opportunity for them to grow personally and professionally. It provides them with good amount of knowledge and these experiences can add value in their later life. Children do not necessarily have to depend on anyone to fulfill their basic needs. This gives them choice to enjoy their life and feel proud of little achievements they make.
On the other hand, there are also some negative aspects of engaging child in work. Children at their age are suppose to enjoy life and explore beauty of the world. They should not be used as labour even though they get little or more mony. This may impact on their physical and psychologcical dvelopment. Once they are attracted to get money it even kills their dream and goals. People should dtop using children as a tool to earn money which can have adverse effect in their future.
To sum up, there is equal amount of advantage and disadvantage of involving young people at paid work. If the elderly members in the society can think of some areas on how to work on its drawbacks this will automatically help young person to gain life experience without any trouble.
