There has never been a clear winner in the debate about whether city life or life in the countryside is better. Both of these lifestyles have a fair share of pros and cons as city life offers easy accessibility while country life offers a more peaceful environment.
City life offers a lot of convenience to an individual in the form of abundant grocery stores, amazing schools, large shopping malls, and plenty of places for fun activities. On the other hand, village life has its merit where one can totally blend in with nature without any distractions.
However, a major problem with city life is facing severe traffic jams due to overcrowding. As more people move in a city, the price of things go up and there’s a constant cycle of inflation.
But all’s not well in the countryside either as the life can be monotonous and you won’t have easy access to healthcare when you need it most. You’d often have to come to the city to do many of your daily tasks. The people living in the city always have to be prepared for a long commute even when they need to a simple thing to be in the city.
In conclusion, the main upside of city life and village life is easy accessibilty and peaceful nature respectively. The downside of the city life is a high living expense and other issues that come from the presence of too many people. While village life is great, it’s also far from perfect as you’d have to often come to the city for basic tasks.
