On the one hand, due to the presence of art, many people get a chance to enhance their creativity and expressions towards the world. Art helps to understand multifold kinds of cultural and historical things. When children are more engaged with art in their school, it will help to foster their cognitive development. For instance, in accordance with research done by the University of Oxford, which found that, students who have a good understanding of art are more creative and logical compared to those students who did not take art class.
On the other hand, due to the advancement of technology, nowadays, people do not value art, The reason is they are more digitized and they do not want to waste their time on such things. Instead, they prefer to invest their time in other subjects, like science and mathematics. They argue that the focus on art may divert attention from core subjects and limit the time available for students to acquire essential knowledge and skills that are directly applicable to their future careers.
In conclusion, the debate surrounding the inclusion of art in the school curriculum encapsulates a combination of valid arguments on both sides. I believe that art is primative but it is more effective rather than others because it enhanced the creative and expression development which is very important factor for solving the different problems of life.
