People have different views about the best age for children to start school. While some believe that beginning education early is beneficial, others argue that a later start is better. I think children should start school later when they are more emotionally ready.
Supporters of early education say that it helps children develop important skills sooner. For example, they learn to read, count, and follow instructions at a young age. This early start may give them an advantage in later studies because they are already familiar with basic concepts.
However, others, including myself, think that starting school too early can cause stress. Young children need more time to play and build social and emotional skills before formal learning. In countries such as Finland, where children start school at age seven, students still perform very well academically. This shows that a later start can be equally or even more effective.
In conclusion, although early education may seem helpful, I believe that starting school later allows children to grow naturally and develop a love of learning.
