Band 6+: Some People Think That Cities Are the Best Places to Live In, While Others Prefer Rural Areas. Discuss Both Views and Give Your Own Opinion.

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Choosing the right place to live in is vitally important for all individuals in all countries. There are two contrasting perspectives: one group asserts that big cities are the best, while the other one believes that small cities are beneficial.

On the one hand, living in a big city allows you to find a good job opportunity with a high salary easily. In other words, all multinational corporations open their branches in the capital city of the country or the big cities in that country, so if you live in one of these cities, you will have a good opportunity to take palce in such a company. For instance, all the international companies in Egypt hire their employees from individuals who live in Cairo. Therefore, it is argued that when you want to improve your life, you have to move to the capital of your country.

On the other hand, a plethora of people believe that if you live in the countryside, you will have a good healthy lifestyle. To illustrate, the number of cars in rural areas is lower than in cities, so the quality of air is better, and that enforces people to walk to their destinations. To exemplify, numerous studies, in the last two decades, have concluded that people in the countryside have better health than individuals in cities.

In conclusion, it is clear that living in cities is a good choice for a group of people; however, the other group sees that small cities are better. I strongly believe that big cities are the best choice for adolescent to build their future.

In some cities cars are replacing bicycles but some people are choosing bicycles in some cities Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

Many people suffer from traffic jams. Preference towards driving cars or riding bicycles are challenging among humans who live different cities. Even though some prefer riding bikes due to ecofriendliness, I still believe that driving cars is more convenient because of time effectiviness and capacity for heavy items. For some, riding bicycles, which is healthy […]

The majority of news being reported is bad news such as wars, famines, accidents and crime. Why do you think that is? Do you think the news should be a balance of both good and bad news?

Nowadays, it is often argued that most of the news reported by the media is negative, focusing on issues such as wars, crime, accidents and natural disasters. There are several reasons why this is the case, and I believe that news organisations should provide a better balance between positive and negative stories. One reason why […]

Many companies are now implementing a four-day workweek. Do the advantages of this new work structure outweigh the disadvantages?

Today, many parts of the world are introducing four-day workweeks for full-time workers instead of traditional five-day schedules. Although this shift might have some drawbacks, I still believe that its advantages are more significant. On the one hand, four-day workweeks can delay the completion of some tasks. Under a four-day workweek, employees have one fewer […]

Some people believe that teachers should focus mainly on teaching academic subjects, not to be responsible for teaching students important life skills. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

There is a heated debate over whether academic institutions should place greater emphasis on teaching life than academic subjects. While I acknowledge the merits of both approaches, I personally believe that treating them as mutually exclusive would be overly simplistic, rather schools should harmonize them. Advocates of the importance of academic subjects cite various reasons […]
