Some people believe that competition in the workplace, at college, and in everyday life is a good thing, whereas others think that working cooperatively with others is better. This essay intends to analyze both perspectives. Personally, I believe we should focus more on cooperating with others rather than competing against them.
There are many positive impacts of cooperation compared to competition. For instance, in the past, there was less competition among people in their work. They helped each other with tasks such as collecting food, building houses, and protecting their families. Moreover, even today, some parents teach their children the importance of teamwork. This helps children improve their personalities and develop a sense of responsibility toward society.
On the other hand, some people believe that competing with others is beneficial for personal growth. They argue that competition can make individuals wealthier or more talented than their peers. For example, we can observe significant competition between neighbors in daily life, as they constantly strive to surpass one another. Similarly, there is intense competition among students in schools, often encouraged by their parents.
Lastly, I firmly believe that working cooperatively with others and helping people to the best of our ability is essential. Only through collaboration can we create a valuable society and nurture a better younger generation.
