In recent years, some people argues that boys and girls should study in separate schools. Others believe that taught in mixed schools is better. I will discuss both views and give my own opinion.
On the one hand, separate schools have some advantages. Boys and girls are different and teachers can make talored education for them. Girls can be more atentive in class with out boys around them. Also, boys will have no distraction from girls during lessons. Students can focus on their work better. In separate schools, students do not feel self-conscious in front of oposite gender. This is important during adolesence because teenagers change a lot.
On the other hand, mixed schools also have goodpoints. Boys and girls can learn from each other. They can mutually help dificult subjects. Participating in extracuricular activities together makes friend ship. Students meet peers from different backrounds and this is helpful for future work. Mixed schools also build self-esteem because students lern to work with everyone.
In my opinion, I believe mixed schools are better for children. Although separate schools have some benefits, mixed schools prepare students for real life. Boys and girls must work together in society learning together is school is important. Therefore, I think all students should study in mixed schools.
