It is thought by some people that by the year 2024,only electric cars should be allowed for travelling.I agree to the point that electric cars are environmental friendly,and as technology is improving day by day,electric cars can replace the cars which run by petrol and diesel.But the normal cars cannot be eliminated completely as many people cannot afford electric cars.
Regarding electric cars,they are environmental friendly as the reduce the noise and air pollution caused by fuel cars to a great extent.Also,these electric cars do not use non-renewable sources of energy which helps in preserving our resources . So ,in future, electric cars are best replacement to conserve the limited resources like petrol and diesel and to protect our environment from harmful gases.
However, electric cars cannot replace fuel cars completely because they are quite expensive for the middle-class people to afford. The battery of the electric cars is harmful to the environment as it cannot be recycled easily. .Morever, electric cars cannot travel long distances,they need to get charged for every 100km distance which is difficult if it has stopped in middle of a highway or between traffic. Scientists are still exploring to improve the battery to make it work for longer distances and to make it environmental friendly.
To conclude, electric can replace the fuel cars by 2040 only if it can be affordable by all the people who are using fuel cars at present and scientists need to research more on how to improve the features of electric cars so that by 2040,only these cars can be allowed.
