It is an open secret known to all that children’s growth depends on many things, especially parental control and school control. It is often argued that who should take the main responsibility for shaping children’s behaviour. While some people believe that families play a more vital role, others think educational institutions should teach children how to become responsible members of society. In my opinion, parents are better rather than school due to justified reasons.
Undoubtedly, Parents are the first teachers in a child’s life, and their influence begins long before formal education starts. Children naturally learn their parents’ actions and attitudes, which helps them learn essential social skills such as honesty, kindness, and respect. For example, when parents show empathy and respect toward others, their children are beginning courteous. Moreover, family is the best environment to teach discipline and moral principles that later guide children’s behavior in society.
On the other hand, schools also have a crucial part to play in social education. They provide structured environments where children learn how to cooperate, follow rules, and interact with people from different backgrounds. Teachers can introduce students to civic education, teamwork, and conflict resolution, which are key skills for social life. Additionally, some children may not receive proper guidance at home due to family problems, so schools may create enough opportunities for this.
To sum up, both sides seems to be great for everyone. Under no circumstance should all things be in moderation. To my way of thinking, people should choose the best choice according to their own condition and i think the first side is appropriate for many.
