Several people opinion that for reducing the traffic accidents should give strict penalties to driving breach. On the other hand, people think other actions can increase the road safety will effectively. In this era, traffic accident happen almost every time due to street usage not comply with the government’s rule. In my view, I agree that strict punishment provide more road safety because a lot of people trivialize the rule and create many driving offences.
The key of reducing the traffic accidents is provides strict penalty to driving violation, I am certain that is one of the solution to increase the road safety. A lot of people doing the offences because they take it for granted the rule. As a result, traffic accidents occur everywhere and mostly happen to underage children. For example, many years ago, the scientist has been created the traffic light to street order. Instead, nowadays, many people prefer to breaching the rule and traffic accident will occur. Otherwise, many people also obey the traffic rules due to scared to the policemen. So, with the strict punishment the street usage will more aware about road safety and small mistake can cause a huge accident.
On the contrary, several people think other action will be more effective in improving road safety. The governments have produces many rule in traffic area other than strict punishment. Nevertheless, it same as always a lot of people remain in violation. One of the example is zebra cross utilization, to avoid accident the people have to crossing the road in zebra cross but many of them prefer to recklessly crossing. As a result, accident will occur.
In conclusion, strict punishment for driving offences will reduce the traffic accident and provide more safely road compared to other measures due to people will be aware about the rule if there are strict punishment.
