In this essay, an attempt will be made to investigate this controversial topic from both perspectives before presenting my own stance on the matter.

If it had not been for his resilience and dedication, he would not have learned from his failure and become an outstanding inventor of all time. Seen in this light, it can be concluded that success in life may stem from relentless efforts and perseverance.
On the other hand, opponents argue that success can be attributed to wealth and appearance. To commence with, having financial stability can yield substantial dividends. An illustrative case is when starting up a business, having enough capital to invest in a venture can be an edge for entrepreneurs, enhancing their chances to success and they are able to offset any potential business losses. Hence, a good finance background is an indispensable factor of achievements. Furthermore, in this contemporary era, those possessing attractive appearance are often highly valued in certain jobs, such as flight attendants, actors, and singers. For instance, an actor with an aesthetically pleasing appearance is more likely to receive a contract in a blockbuster, which can be a leap in her professional career. As a result, the importance of wealth and appearance in obtaining success can be deemed crucial and should not be overlooked.
All things considered, I hold a firm belief that both assiduousness, determination, affluence, and aesthetic value play a pivotal role in achieving success. Therefore, people should attempt to cultivate themselves in various aspects to fulfill their objectives.
