It is argued that living in a country where it is language is spoken can be one of the effective way to learn it .But I do not believe that it is the only or necessarily the best method for everyone due to the following reasons.
On the one hand, reside in a native speaking environment provides full adaption to the language in real life situation ,helping people to improve speaking and listening skills naturally, it also forces them to use the language daily, which can accelerate fluency. Moreover, this kind of method enhances understanding of idioms, speaking manner, making communication more authentic. |
On the other hand living native spoken area does not guarantee language mastery. This method might be difficult for introvert persons and individuals who has social phobia due to lack of confidence or limited interactions with local. Furthermore, modern technologies provides effective and available various of technologies to learn language, such as online courses, language programs like duolingo, dictionary games that discovered my interest when I commenced to learn English language. For instance, finding virtual friends or talking in video chats with strangers in order to learn common language are being disturbed widely according to some applications Many successful language learners achieve fluency without ever living country.
To sum up, while living in a country where the language is spoken can be beneficial, it is not the only way to learn language. The major factors to mastering the language are motivation, effective study methods, and consistent practice are just as important.
