The issues of transportation, health, and the environment are becoming increasingly debatable these days. While it is thought by some that the government should spend more expenses on faster transportation sources, however, others are of different views it is better that more spending should be on health and the environment. From my perspective, both transportation, health, and the environment have respective benefits and drawbacks, the emphasis should be on health and the environment. In this essay, I will discuss the reasons to rationalize the above-stated views.
On the one hand, the proponents of transportation believe that more spending should be on transportation. Faster modes of transport should be made. The government should spend more money on fast trains, buses, and planes. This is because they can reach anywhere on time. Anyone can travel anywhere in a few minutes or hours by faster means of transport. For example, the Bullet train in Japan can reach a speed of up to 500 kilometers per hour. therefore, In a few hours, anyone can commute from one part of the country to another.
On the other hand, according to advocates of health and the environment, it is better if the emphasis is on hospitals, and to keep the environment safe and clean. Moreover, they believe that the government should invest more money in hospitals, and medicines. in this way, more lives can be saved. For instance, in my country, countless cancer hospitals are built by the government which are saving several lives daily. Furthermore, the government should also invest in planting trees and try not to pollute the environment through industries. Industries’ waste should not be dumped into the sea, or river and should be managed properly.
To sum up, on account of the points discussed above, it can be logically concluded that people may vary in their opinions, I think that more focus should be on health and the environment. Health and safety are way more important than transport.
