While some people argue that higher education should be provided free of cost for all students, others believe that individuals should pay for their own studies. This essay will discuss both perspectives before presenting my opinion.
On the one hand, many people believe that university education should be free because it promotes equal opportunities. If tuition fees are removed, students from low-income families will be able to access higher education without financial difficulties. As a result, talented individuals who might otherwise be unable to afford university would have the chance to develop their skills and contribute to society. Therefore, a balanced system where students contribute partially to tuition fees seems to be the most practical solution.
