The topic is a debate about which is more effective way of learning, whether is it through online classes or by interaction in person. In my opinion, gaining knowledge by interacting with the teacher in person will be more effective, than the online platform.
Being present in the classroom and Interacting with the lecture will make students feel motivated to learn, also they get to socialise with friends at the same time. Furthermore, children get inspired by looking at their peers and start learning by taking it as a challenge, while they have each other backs. For example, a study is carried out in 2024 the results of students before covid and during the pandemic. The majority of the results and the knowledge was before pandemic. However there might jealously and ego between students which might lead from verbal dispute to a physical fight. In my view children’s tend to gain more knowledge by involving with friends and their faculty.
On the other hand, learning through online in reality is by staying alone in an isolated room without anyone around will often be depressing and lose interest in the subject very quickly, many times teacher cannot monitor whether everyone are being attentive and listening, most of the time children often seen playing video games by keeping the sessions mute. Although, it’s really a challenging aspect, online learning can be accessed from anywhere in the country by just having a proper internet connecting. for instance, during pandemic while the classes was on online platform due to fluctuation in the signal my friend and I had to bring the class to an halt abruptly.
It seems to me that learning online have both pros and cons of there own, while children will not socialize with other people.
