Some people assume that zoos help to secure wild species,whereas others say that they are money earning programs and should be stopped.When we think,zoos can help for increasing number of the species with somme breed,ng programs, this sound sounds good .However,when you dream animals’ living conditions such as space and natural habitat,you can think zoos are captivity areas.
First of all,there are lots of animal groups on the earth.The population of some of them is very high so that they do not have any existing problem.However,others’ numbers are critical level.Therefore, they need protecting and breeding programs.Zoos are not only solution for this.There are many groups and agancy to secure animals in their living areas.This way is more acceptable than zoos.For example,I watched wildlife program on Tv 2 weeks ago which is from England Group interested increasing lions numbers at their habitats and this group achieved their goals in 1 year.
On the other hand ,especially mammlian animals need enough space for their muscles development.Generally,zoos do not have adequate area and this situation can lead to animals becomming stressed and depressed.I want to give 1 example about this topic.When I was 14 years old,I visited zoo in Ankara and I was very upset to see monkeys’ living area.Their space was very limited so that they could not move and jump.
To sum up,if people think superficially,zoos can create very useful opportunities for preserving and producing animals but if they think their pysical and psychological development,they will understand that zoos are really a bad influence.For this reasons,in my opinion zoos should be closed.
