It is argued that music, art and craft and theater are as essential as the other subjects, mainly at elementary level. I totally agree with this statement because it helps to build up a child’s character and also makes academic work more exciting.
One of the reasons I agree is that performing arts helps in the development of a child’s character. Having various subject would assist the kids to reveal potential talents in the art field. It helps to build character as well as boost up confidence. Children’s will become more self dependent. The child would learn different skills in different field. For instance, the students with art background became more skilled and confident.
Moreover, having arts as an subject would make teaching affecting and exciting. As of math, science and other subject, are tend to be kind of boring. But the subject art, music and drama would make a huge change in the education sector. Students would be more engaged and they’ll learn more. Their mindset as well as their skill will grow drastically. For example, recent study showed that students were learning more effectively when the art subjects were included in the curriculum.
In conclusion, art, craft and drama should be added in the curriculum because it is as necessary as other subjects especially in the elementary level because it allows them to build up their personality and also makes the study exciting.
