It is true that in the reality, several students think that is preferable to continue the study in the university nearby their hometown. Meanwhile, others think it is preferable to stay a long way from their home. I would tend to support the second idea which far university is better to be attended.
First of all, there are some students view that by continuing their study in higher level of education is preferable that close by their hometown in consideration since more efficient in many aspects. Those aspects such as; the pupils don not require to rent accommodation, more economical on petrol costs because no need spent quite while on the way, and more frequently can make time for their family. In addition, the students don’t require to spent much time to get along well since it is their neighbourhood and most of the things they have gotten familiar with. For instance, it doesn’t take time to get to know about the customs, cultures and places in the locality so that can more focus on their study.
On the other side, in my opinion there many more beneficial things if they decide to choose to study far from their home. Since it is like a crucial thing that they have to trained themselves to go out from the comfort zone in order to escalate their personal growth to become more independent and responsible for themselves from early ages. By considering that the world of work is much harder than that later on. There are a lot of advantages for the young people for trying to challenge themselves to stay far away from home. It is such as they will not surprise with the work environment in the future because they have practised to responsible for most of the things in their life.
In conclusion, based on my viewpoint it is more beneficial for the students in selecting university to study which is far from their hometown rather than nearby their home town. It is because that can increase their growth in personal to be well prepared before facing the real world of work.
