There is a credence that people’s overall health will deteriorate in the future. I strongly disagree with this statement because the future is likely to witness a positive effect on public health such as higher health awareness and well-equipped healthcare facilities.
Admittedly, there are reasonable concerns about the current health situation as a sedentary lifestyle occurs. For instance, first world countries have developed service sectors where I require workers to work in desks with high demand for screen time which is a drawback for many people’s health. As a result of high risks of illness such as obesity, diabetes, and eye constrain. Moreover, unhealthy eating habits have become widespread as processed foods have become common among busy workers for convenient and fast meals.
On the other hand, there are strong arguments to support this statement. As technology advances, there are expectations for improvements in future medical facilities. High-tech equipment will be available in the hospital which can treat various diseases including deadly diseases. Furthermore, sport amenities such as swimming, pilates, and other cardio exercises will be accessible since these facilities will be established to meet people’s growing demand to stay fit. In addition, individuals will be more educated about the potential consequences of bad health habits, yielding to a higher awareness of health issues. As a result, individuals adopt healthy habits such as eating nutritious dietary supplements and doing daily physical exercise.
In conclusion, I firmly believe that the overall standard of health in the future will improve as the availability of better medical infrastructure and an abundant knowledge of healthier lifestyle. With these, this can contribute to sustainable health outcomes for all of the people.
